“ Can’t say enough about Salernos, the owners/staff, and food. We had my Mom and Dad’s 50th Wedding Anniversary here back in December and used their party room. Had quite a few people too. Everything was phenomenal !! If you have a Birthday, Anniversary, Shower, Graduation, or any kind celebration Salernos is the place! Their prices are reasonable & the portions are large. If you haven’t been for lunch or dinner... come try them out. I promise you will be regular customers! “ Wife and I have known about this place for a while now but hadn't made the trek up to Highland Village to try it out yet. However, we received a coupon so we figured it was a great opportunity to try it out. We hit the place up during happy hour on a Thursday and were seated right away. The menu is straightforward, offering a variety of pretty standard Italian options. I was thrilled to see Pasta Bolognese as one of the choices, as it's always been one of my favorites. I was not disappointed! The balance of flavors, as well as the texture, were both absolutely spot on. Complementary garlic bread was plenty tasty. And the happy hour drink choices were great. My wife got the lasagna and it was not only outstanding, but somewhat unique in its preparation and presentation. The basic marinara it was served with was also quite well done, with a depth of flavor and not too sweet. The wife also ordered the sangria to drink and reported that it was delicious. We are always easily tempted by dessert, and this is no exception. Having seen a picture of it online, we couldn't resist trying the bread pudding. Be warned, it is very fresh and made to order, so it takes a hot second for it to arrive, but good googly moogly is it ever worth it! Warm, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Easily in my top 5 bread puddings, and that's often our go-to choice, so that's saying something. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert. The prices were almost too good to be true, especially for the portions. Happy Hour (4-6 pm) drinks were in the 5 range -- wine, well drinks, and a couple of their specialty drinks. Shout out to our server CJ who took excellent care of us (including a helpful nudge on that last item!). We had a great experience at Salerno and we will definitely be back soon. ”

Everything was perfect and we were not rushed at all. Highly recommended!! So whether you have your entire family with you or just a date, this is a sure bet! ”
“ The half Salerno steak was delicious. Cooked just I like my meat; it came with whole garlic cloves which was cooked to perfection and not overpowering. I also had the lobster bisque...I should have ordered a bowl...delicious! ”
“ My family and I were volunteering in the area and found Salerno’s on a quick map search. Wow! We had 3 children with us and this was such a welcoming yet “nicer” atmosphere. The prices were on point and the food AND wine was probably underpriced! Declan was our server and I have never had a young man serve us at a restaurant with his professionalism. (My husband joked that he wanted to hire him at his company.) Very well trained!!!! He was proud to share the history of the restaurant and his recommendations were amazing! My husband ordered the blacked chicken Venicia. Dang! We may drive back over here from Frisco just for that dish! It was delicious! My only knock on the entire meal was I wish they had the music turned up just a little bit. It could have added a little more fun to the experience (mostly because we had our kids and music helps!!) Bravo to Salerno’s! ”
